History of Personal Sound
The first headphones were created in 1890,but the ones we know and love today had their roots starting in 1910 by one Nathaniel Baldwin. He invented audio headphones right on his kitchen table and they were so good that the US Navy ordered hundreds of them not knowing that they were hand made. Their design has carried on to this day.
It was in 1958 when a gentleman by the name of John Koss created the first stereo headphones. They would evolve to what we now use today. Unlike the previous, these could be used for other means and not just for military use.

From the Sony Walkman to Apple’s iPod. Listening to music on the go has become the norm. Did you that it was Sony that actually revolutionized this? It all started with the cassette playing Walkman.
